*Day 4: Favorite Song*
Another tie.
“Belle (Reprise)”, though only about a minute long, has that incredible instrumental interlude, with that orchestral buildup that just gives me chills. And I love the second bit of lyrics:
“I want adventure in the great wide somewhere
I want it more than I can tell
And for once it might be grand to have someone understand
I want so much more than they’ve got planned.”
But “Kiss the Girl” is one of the sweetest love songs ever written. This was actually my parents’ first dance at their wedding. What it does for me is bring back the innocent, simple side of love where you just have to take the first step and kiss the girl.
